Materiality and Assembly Final Project
‘Fish‘ is a window installation designed for a window in the 12th Floor of 2 W13th St, NY. The project consisted in exploring a material and developing an assembly method. Fish is made out of armature wire panels and strips of burlap. Using the natural stiffness of burlap and the loose wave, I manipulated the strips of the material into voluminous strips as well as weaving in between them to increase the opacity. To attach the three different panels, I weaved through them using burlap thread
